Vehicle Crime

Good morning,

We would like to inform you about a recent incident of criminal damage to a motor vehicle in our community. On 30/07/26, at approximately 0300hrs on Poplar Street, Norton Canes, Cannock, WS119SG a White Ford Transit was broken into. Offenders snapped the ignition barrel. Nothing was stolen. This incident is currently under investigation.

We urge all residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately. We are seeking any witnesses and requesting any CCTV  from this time frame. If you have any information or footage, please contact us quoting log number 100 30/07/2026.

To help prevent further incidents, we recommend the following precautions:

· Ensure your vehicle is securely locked and parked in a well-lit area.

· Avoid leaving valuables in plain sight within your vehicle.

· Consider installing security cameras or motion sensor lights around your property.
